How Can You Help?
There are many ways that you can help Macon County Humane Society!
There are also many other ways in which you can help us make a positive impact in our community and all the difference in the world to the animals that need our help! Here are just a few!
Donate Online Today!
Any animal shelter or rescue group depends on the support of the community we serve and our abilities are limited only by our resources!
With a donation to MCHS, you can help us to provide spay/neuter services to the animals in our care, provide veterinary care to the sick or injured animals that come to us, as well as provide the resources that we need to educate our community about the importance of responsible animal care.
You can donate through Facebook, PayPal or Venmo (@maconcountyhumanesociety)!
With the new GoodSearch.com search engine, every time you search the Internet, MCHS earns money!
Asvertisers pay to have their ads listed on search engines and GoodSearch pays a portion of those funds to groups, such as ours.
GoodSearch also has filters to help keep your family safe! When you think about how easy it is, we think you will agree that there is no reason not to use it!
With so many animals that need our help, here is a list of items that are always needed:
Puppy food (Purina)
Dog food (Purina)
Collars (XS, Small)
Pet Supply Gift Cards
Flea and Tick Prevention
GIVE DOGS A GREAT PLACE TO SLEEP
We would like to give every dog in our care a Kuranda Dog Bed to sleep on while waiting for a new home.
These beds are tough, durable, and chew-proof, so they stand up to even the most active dogs.
When you donate a bed to MCHS, you will receive a special discount that is well below the retail price for these great dog beds.
Our dogs (and some of our cats) will thank you! To donate a bed to MCHS, click here!
We also appreciate pet store gift cards, as well as pet supply coupons to help our members defray the cost of supplies for the animals in our care.
So, the next time you are out shopping for pet supplies, please consider picking up an extra bag of dog food for the Macon County Humane Society!
